Hi,

I am looking to book hotel through a website called alpharooms.com as it offers me quite a good deal.

I have been a bit put off by other comments made by other AB users about sites being just a con to take money and they don't really exist or book rooms etc. How do I know if this is a trust worthy site, other people may have heard of it or used it but I haven't so any advice or feedback would be welcome

If it's a UK site (doesn't sound like it) you can visit companies house.
Beyond that I think that you're down to searching the web for others' opinions and experiences.

With paypal, for example, there's
http://www.paypalsucks.com
Maybe search for your company name and "sucks" in google or other appropriate keywords ("con") ?
