I have been getting about 3 texts a day from the above mentioned company saying I am considered on a loan up to £750.
I do not want a loan unless it is at zero interest.
It is saying text back number 87474 to stop these texts.
Does anybody know if this is a premium rate number? or does anybody have an ordinary phone number for this company?.

delete delete, do not text back
Question Author
O'h I have just had another text from this company.
Can't you just ignore them?
Just continue to delete them. STOP or STOPALL sometimes works but for some unscrupulous callers it just confirms to them that your number is a valid one
Do not reply and do not try to stop the texts it'll cost you money for the text backs. Delete and ignore.

If you need a loan pay for it from a reputable company, nothing comes for free.
Weren't you getting lots of PPI calls as well a few days ago?
Don't know if it's genuine or not, but I'd like to bet if you do text them to opt out, it will show your number is an active number and it will be sold on to all sorts of companies.

Maybe it's time to change your number
Question Author
I can ignore them but I do have to keep my phone on as I receive important calls / texts and this is just a nuisance.

O'h I have just received a text about PPI.
Question Author
Yes factor30. That was the first day I got these calls in significant numbers.
I think they want to try to sell these loans to rich people who can pay the interest.
I can not forsee a requirement for a loan.
It's spamming - delete it.
Which mobile network are you on?
Forward the texts to 7726 (spells spam). If on Vodafone it's 87726. It won't stop the spam but it allows the mobile companies to collate info to try and stop the spammers.

OK, as SMP says, forward the texts to 7726. See this page for more details:
