Have the holiday accrual laws been changed in the last year (since july 04), and also does your holiday accrual stop when you are signed off sick by your doctor? I really do think my old employer is trying to shaft me!!

Holidays are pretty much at the employers discression. I think legally they are required to give you 20 days but they can be unpaid. Therefore any extras can be added or removed at anytime.
