If i sell a car, that came out in 2007, valued at 15k  and 60,000 vehicles are sold, would one say that there is a difference in sales from a car that came out in 2000, valued at 14k that sold 72,000 cars off the lot

Do you have a calculator.
Work out $15000 x 60000
Then work out $14000 x 72000

Then decide whether you need to adjust for inflation in order to put all figures into 2007 values. (You could argue it depends on the timing of the sales- for example, can we assume the car that came out in 2000 ones all sold in that year?)
Of course you may not need a calculator- you sold 20% more cars in 2000 than in 2007 whereas unit prices went up by quite a bit less than 10% over the period, so even without allowing for reductions in real terms in values there can only be one answer
