Saw the Dutch coronation on the news today and wondered how much it would cost for Prince Charles to be crowned if it was done soon.

Correction - the ceremony the Dutch have is an investiture not a coronation.

Maybe it could be privatised and put out to the highest bidder. The tories are keen to privatise everything and anything. "The Charlie and Godzilla Roadshow sponsored by Starbucks or Persil". I hope he will never be crowned King and that the Queen will live for many more years.

We could make a fortune for the UK from a coronation. Charge OneBillion pounds for every front seat in the Abbey. Then the top bankers who have robbed us all could give the money back.
A few huge celebs, some oil-sheiks and plenty of foreign politicians could afford it - the computer giants, etc.
