I just finished my taxes for 2009 and realized that I am passed the 3 years to get my refund I deserve. I was thinking of checking the option "Applying your refund to your Federal return for next year". This way I will get my refund on the 2010 year. Is this possible or will I trigger an alert by the IRS?

harvey, you are asking in a UK site and you might get an answer but I think that you'd do better to ask on an American site.
