hi i got my application form today for a refund. Problem is, i'm not 100% sure it was missold to me. I suppose it could have been but i honestly can't remember, it was so long ago. Shall i just make something up?

No, you can't make something up.
If you were sold a policy and the person gave you wrong information or a product that wasn't right for you, you might have a claim. I can't see anyone giving you a refund if you can't remember.

Virtually all CPP was missold - the benefits of the policies were negligible, because people were already covered by their banks for any losses.

Just say that you were persuaded to buy the policy for "peace of mind about loss/fraud on your cards".

check the small print, these claim companies charge up to 39% of what you get paid out.

There's no harm in applying. You need to fill it in as honestly as you can. Presumably there will be records to check against. You don't want to be done for fraud...

I also got mine yesterday Black-cat. I know that years ago I paid into Cpp protection but cannot remember much about it. I just wrote that if I was mis-sold the product then I should rightly deserve compensation. They appear to know much more about it than I do.
