How Can I Find Out If I Was Owed A Tax Rebate This Year?

Every year i usually get a cheque but not this year. I've moved a little while ago so wondered whether a payment may have been sent to my old address but as my previous employment is registered at my new address would this mean that hmc&e would automatically have this address to send a cheque to or not necessarily? How could i find out???

Whenever I am due a rebate I always write, setting out the calculation of the rebate due, in May once I have received all my P60s. I always assumed that if I didn't write I wouldn't get anything as they would just adjust the following year's code at some stage. So did they just send you a cheque each year in the summer without you asking?
Of course it may be that you aren't entitled to one fo last tax year.
