M daughter`s future husband needs to open a bank account because his new job will not accept his salary being paid into her bank account. He was to begin next Monday,so handed his notice in at his present employment....now..he cannot open an account as he has NO form of ID..nothing.
Does anyone think they can have a joint account or he can be added onto to her account.
This is desperate ..as he will now be without a job.Thay are getting married next and the reason he changed jobs was to earn more...

But his previous employer must have something ..and would he not have to give him a P45??
A passport would take longer,It will be his first ,interviews etc.We live near Liverpool so I think it would be a good idea to go there...and start the ball rolling,

Just to add, as I don't think anyone has answered your question regarding the 'Joint Account' idea.
Unless he already had a joint account with the bank your daughter holds hers at (Which I know, he doesn't otherwise you wouldn't be asking the question in the first place) then he wouldn't be able to be put on her account without I.D anyway. Just thought I'd answer that part of the question.
