Refund To Paypal

I am expecting a refund from the well known electrical appliance company...VAX

I have an email to claim this via my PayPal account as it was from there the payment was made.

The email has a link for me to claim this refund for the correct amount. When I press the button to take me to my PayPal, I log in but its then asking for an email for the company...

Several messages to and from the company "dogsbody" who is answering emails, doesn't give me an email that works to reclaim this money. The only customer email is simply [email protected]

I have tried phoning them as well,but after numerous pressing this and that button it refers you to the web site before cutting you off.

The email tells me if I don't claim this money by Jan 15th it will return it to Vax.

The person answering the emails says "they may not be able to find it if its returned"......

I am not impressed with Vax in any shape or form. The sooner this is resolved the better I shall like it.

Can anyone suggest how I might retrieve this money via PayPal ? please

You may have to request the refund from Vax through PayPal.

If you sign into PayPal and find the transaction in your history.

Along the top line you have various tabs ... click on 'Send and Request'

Enter the email address you initially sent the money too... and put the email details in.

Hope this gets you somewhere.

Can you get that information from your PayPal payment history? Find the transaction and it may have the email you need.

Are you calling them on the number given in bit about refunds here? (if advice given above doesn't work)

Thank you all so much. I have now been able to see the cash in my account and withdrew it to my own bank....as yet it hasn't shown up. Its informing me its waiting for PayPal to review and release it.

All a bit odd. I shall delete my account as soon as funds are safely in my bank.
