Scam Alert

Looks like a scam purporting to be from HSBC, and not a very good one at that. Just logged on and nothing wrong with my account.

I've been getting them a lot from HSBC and other banks . It's a scam. Report them. [email protected]

I've had all sorts of emails purporting to be HSBC, Barclaycard, Lloyds, PayPal etc etc asking me to verify my account or it will be suspended - the fact that I don't have accounts with HSBC or Lloyds is a bit of a clue but these financial institutions won't do this sort of thing in an unsolicited email!

These are usually scams but even if you think it's real never actually use any links in the email.
