My wife had an 18 ct gold bracelet removed from our possession and I need to replace it. Most jewellers do not deal with 18ct gold. Any ideas where we can try
. I know there are silver vaults, but are there gold vaults? Any input gratefully received. Bramley.

Tiffany & Co ?
All the jewellers in my area deal with 18ct gold, independent and chains.
Have you had a burglary?
Have you asked local (non high street chain) jewellers?
Do you live anywhere near Brum, Bramleyboy.

Mine too, Prudie.
18 carat is a standard grade.....along with 24 and 9....14 tends to be American...

Prudie ~ where is your area?
Tilly2 ~ no burglary, just lost it, slipped off her hand.
Woofgang ~ tried all jewellers around Salisbury.
Tonyav ~ someone else mentioned Brum, so it looks as if we'll have a look. Thanks all, Bramley.
Bramley - Dorchester, Weymouth, Poole, Bournemouth - all jewellers including Samuels and Ernest Jones and all indpendents sell 18ct gold, I don't really understand why you are having a problem. Even Samuels, if you look on their website, has a lot of 18ct chains/rings/jewellery in general.
Did you try Goldsmiths? There's a branch in Salisbury, Bath and Southampton.
