yes also below to a cashback site and often combine the two - got £490 cashback since June last year.
I don't go out of my way to look for them but I do get emails from https://www.vouchercodes.co.uk and I occasionally spot something that I can use.

think that the coupons would be good to use at eating houses etc but to save money on groceries - seems you would have to bulk buy.
DieselDick recently mentioned that he's signed up to a couple of websites where (as I understand it) you look for offers on your usual shopping, pay the regular price in the shop, photograph your receipt with a smartphone and upload the image to the relevant site. You're then credited with the value of the 'coupon' that appeared on the site and, after you've built up a minimum balance, you can get the money paid into your bank account.

ta Chris - but I don't even have a mobile phone so that jargon would be too technical for me.
I don't get how the American programme show people paying something insane like 10 dollars for hundreds of dollars worth of products
Not just the USA, Smowball!

Wow!
Tomorrow as there is an Asda around the corner, I will be scavenging all receipts!!!
Crikey all mine fester at the bottom of my handbag until I have regular clearouts and chuck them in the bin.
I can't claim to save as much as some of the above methods but for many years I have been signed up with a company - you get a scanner and scan all your purchases.

The rewards in my case are vouchers for major high street retailers , I usually choose Argos from the list.

I estimate £150 per year and it's simple.
I have used http://www.topcashback.co.uk for years and last time I looked I had about £150 waiting to be paid to me. It will be left to accumalate until Xmas.
Some amazing cash back if you are thinking about changing insurers or ISPs... have a look at what you can get today only by switching to TalkTalk.
I thought everyone used it .. the other one to register with is .. http://www.quidco.com/ .. they both pay out without any issues.
Every time I buy anything I just type the suppliers name in the search box in either of the two I have shown and more often than not cashback is available.
I think I would have it now, Alavahalf, in case they go out of business before Crimble.
Why would you .. for a few years I have been collecting cash from them and they pay it straight into my bank a/c.
If I said do you want money for nothing, straight away you would want to know where the catch is... there isn't one. The cashback sites get paid from the suppliers for driving buyers to their sites.
It's simple .. you just log in and search for the supplier and shop as normal. Never had a problem yet.
If the likes of Woolies, Comet, BHS and the like can fail then a tuppenny outfit can disappear easily.

I would rather have the money in my account than theirs.

If you want to save it for Christmas stick it in a tin or buy Tesco stamps, or some other way to protect it.
Sorry dont do saving .. only investing.

to be honest - I truly think I would be very embarrassed in using coupons - coupons were used after the war - weren't they. Not that I would have memory of that -
yes, you may need to be careful, cashback companies can vanish

I only saw the end of it. How does the Wombling with other people's reciepts work then?
