not a pensioner yet, though it often feels like it. Did have 5 page letter from the DWP, why do they have to be so laborious, and a two page letter from the council saying they increasing the rent.

Yup ! If it's any consolation lb, I always get my heating allowance notification ages after everybody else.

yeah a month or so ago
but I am a new boy - and so it was combined with what my end of the year whack was and what it would go to

obviously wait for it go up and
if it doesnt then recontact the DWP

My rent has gone up £2 per month. My pension has gone up £14 per month so so far I'm £12 in pocket. Have to wait for the increase in my occupational pension. It's looking good.
