Can someone settle a dispute regarding share prices. In the newspaper they dont show the pound sign when showing the price so if a share says it 2000 does that mean it is £20.00 per share or 20p per share. Thanks
If my memory is correct, I think the prices on the LSE (London Stock Exchange) are usually quoted in pence. So a price of 221.00 is £2.21 and not £221.00.
Thanks and although ive explained it to her, she still dont get it, she says in paper they dont use the decimal point so they are written like 2000 or 59 or 123 per share, the penny will drop then she will get it
