How To Get My Credit Rating Up To Standard
3 Answers
defaulted 4 yrs ago, long story, anyway im n right track now since then, o2 contract bill being paid, virgin media bill being paid on time, recenty got a cashplus card where they lent me £70,00 per year and now im paying that back , also got an aqua credit card last week with £700 credit limit on it and have all intentions of not messing that up.
i want a mrtgage soon, im based in NI , could i get one now and who could i talk too ? or let my bills keep continuing to be paid for a year or two,
credit report on noddle says my rating is stil at 520 ( very poor ) this last 4 yrs

However, the main Mortgage lenders will not look at giving you a mortgage for minimum 6 years from default. There are a few 'Bad Credit Lenders' around, but you will need a larger deposit and the interest rates will be high. If you are prepared for that the best course of action would be to approach a reputable broker.
