Best Transfer Company To Use Euro - Gbp

want repatriate my savings from EU to UK.

what is best company to use, it is for house purchase in UK.

sum is approx 80000 euro.

before any one asks i have now in my possesion my house sale contract from 2017 showing proof of funds :)

can i also ask, since the market is volatile when is it likely that the pound will fall against the euro, obviously i do not want to pound to get stronger as i will lose too much .

my money went into euro account when the pound was near equal to euro so i have allready lost enough.

I have always used Transferwise, but there are one or two other equally good companies.

all I say is that I would do it asap - the pound moved up sharply yesterday and will continue to do so on the prospect of the Tories winning in a week..... The £ was at 1.183 Euros as of yesterday.

I use HiFX but I havn't shifted that kind of money for some years now. They always used to be very friendly and helpful on the phone but I believe (certainly for smaller amounts) they only work online now. They have a facility where they will hold your money until an agreed exchange rate is reached if that would assist you.

yes that is true, though i wonder will it keep rising against the EURO after the election / brexit ?
buying home here in uk , so im taking big punt on this.
