Whoops typo..my current account.
Asking whether ISAs are the best option for investments is like asking if apples are the best fruit for eating. There are many factors to be considered including whether you need ready access to your money or you can afford to tie it up, whether you are prepared for a more risky but more lucrative investment, what your tax position is, how much other cash you have invested (so as to preserve full FCS protection). Much more info required.

Sorry New Judge.
Well i could tie it up for several years. I already have a sizable sum tied up in ISA's.
Risky and lucrative? For example?
If you can tie it up for a while an investment ISA may be more lucrative if the markets rise, but there is always the chance it could drop. Easy to ride any ups and downs unless you happen to need the money during a dip. If that happens you could still get a better return than interest rates if there has been a good run, but that is the risk you take.
