Gave Boss Wrong Iban Number For Wages, Can They Be Recalled ?

boss owes me 2 weeks wage, he paying from uk going into eu bank in south ireland.

i gave wrong iban number
1 digit wrong

but i gave him correct account number & sort code.

will this money go somewhere else and if so can it be recalled

My guess is that, that would depend on what the boss' bank uses to identify the recipient. If it's sort code and account number then all should be well. If it's the IBAN then you may be depending on the individual with a surprise windfall handing it back, or the bank admitting liability for not checking all data and refunding. But best ask the banks for their view, I reckon.
