Cost of a packet of Silk Cut 1989

I went cold turkey and stopped smoking on the 15 March 1989. How much would a packet of 20 Silk Cut cost back then. I would like to work out how much money I have saved to date, being a sixty a day gal. Any help appreciated.

I would say approx �1-80. My brand was costing �2-40 when I quit in 94.

According to morg_monster's link it should be �1.61 for a 20 pack (if you're based in UK.) You've saved yourself a fair bit over the years - well done.
