Euro Postal Orders ??? HELP

I have been sent two postal orders from Spain total value of them both being �31. They have GBP value on them but they are made out in Euros on a Spanish Bank with no UK sort code. Please can someone tell me how I can cash these and what the commission fee is likely to be ?? Thanks, Andrew.

I'm confused! Are these postal orders or cheques? You refer to them as 'postal orders' in your heading but then you make a reference to an absence of sort codes (which only occur on cheques, not postal orders).

I suspect that these are the international version of postal orders, i.e. International Money Orders. These are always paid for in the local currency where they're purchased but made out for an amount in the currency of the country where they'll be cashed. Just like normal postal orders, all the commission is paid by the sender. You can pay these IMO's into your bank account - most banks probably won't levy a charge - or, easier, just take them to any post office to convert them to cash (with no commission to be paid by you).
