Contacting Paypal

I've changed my phone number and I can't log in. I've tried phoning 6 times but after a long wait I get cut off. What can I do ?

I assume it trying to send you a code to the old number. On that page there will be a choice to send the number somewhere else, eg, email. Once you have logged in you can change the number to your new number.

No thete isn't a choice that's the problem

I've just done this myself, on the "lets confirm it's you screen" there is an option to send a text, click that, then on the screen where it asks you to type in the code, click "need more options". That should give you a way to get in without the old number.

And if that doesn't work, the phone number is

Just checking that matches the one you are calling.

Not working for me no. I have the right no

Today 11.44 on the options , everything is coming back to the old no

To turn off 2-step verification:

Go to Settings. 

Click Security. 

Click Update next to "2-step verification."

Click Turn Off next to 2-step verification, then click the Turn It Off button.
