On Incapacity Benefit, can i also get income support?

I have been on incapacity benefit for 18 months now, am i also entitled to income support?

If you are entitled to Income Support it will be reduced by the amount of Incapacity Benefit you receive. You should contact the Social Security Office/Jobcentre Plus office paying yir Benefit to see if you'll qualify.

Income support may be payable, it is based on what the government says you need to live on against what income you have, if you have a partner their wage or income is also counted, Ring freefone 0800882200, as you have probably been ill for over 6 months you may be entitled to Diaabled living allowance [DLA] this is tax free and based on need ring 0845 712 3456.
