The 826 was the full tax, we only paid for 11 months because we weren't here for the first month of the financial year. The fact is that the bill has gone up from 826 to 1019 which is a 23% increase! We informed the council that we had moved back in May but by the time they had sorted out the bill it was nearly the end of August, we paid the first instalment in September and the last one in February, and the charge was for 11 months but divided into 6 monthly payments.
As established, it's the difference, divided by the original sum, multiplied by 100.
That's a shocking rise!! Have they revalued your house in the meantime and discovered lots of home improvements which add value to your property or is everyone in your area the same?
Have you recently had an Olympic standard athletics arena built nearby with all the accompanying transport links?
