Yorkie Lass - I tried the Pension Forecast but they don't actually tell you how much you get - just that you're eligible for a pension. Thanks anyway. I'll see if I have a spare day soon and phone them.
You can print off the form BR19 and send it to the Pension Forecast section. I've not had a good look at the site but we used to tell folk they'd get a reply within about three weeks (I used to work on the Pension Section at the Benefits Agency.) The reply tells you what you've qualified for to date, what the maximum will be and any previous years for which you can pay NI Contributions.
