Is it fair that Women can draw a state pension at 60 while Men have to wait until they're 65?

Men receive National Insurance Contribution Credits automatically from age 60 to 65. As dzug has said the a woman's retirement age is changing and This will tell you when she can retire if born after 6.4.1950.
... And the only reason why the retirement age for women is increasing is because of a European Court ruling that the UK's age of the retirement must be the same for both sexes. The man that brought the case was wanting the retirement age for men reduced, but this is far too expensive for Gordon to finance without those of us in work paying even more in taexes to pay for it.
