Correcting my credit rating

I've been applying for loans alot recently, and I'm getting refused so much. (except for companies that ask for a fee suprisingly!)


I sent off for my credit history from experian, and today it arrived... me and my dad have the same name and it appears that all the defaults that are on my file are his.


So if I do the online correction thing, will my credit record now be more likely to accepted?!
