My partner is a Tenant in Common with a former partner. He cannot make her sell the house as they have a child. She will not buy him out either.

He has recently had their tennancy changed to Tenants in common. Can he now get a loan secured against this half of the property. Would she need to sign it. Could we use it as security for a mortagage?
