A friend of mine has been doing up her house, and is currently using a Virgin credit card. So far, the amount spent on the card is 5,800. She's a good payer, and intends to pay it off within 12-18 months.
The card was only used for costs during the renovation of her house.
At the moment, shes having a lot of trouble with them (Virgin) and wishes to move her balance onto a new card, with a new company.
Could someone please find some suggestions, for companies offering interest-free options on transferred balances for at least 12 months. She doesn't need a higher spending limit etc, as the card has no use anymore, its simply the matter of paying it off. Any other suggestions, aside from credit cards, would also be considered. The person in question is a teacher and will have no trouble with credit checks etc.
Try either First direct (Not to bew confused with the HSBC)or Natwest. Virgin are linked to MNBA - like capital one - best avoided at all costs. Good luck
