I had an IFA come round last night to see if she could sort a mortgage for me. As it happened she was GORGEOUS! Through talking to her, I found that she is single and has no boyfriend. Would I be able to/allowed to ask her out on a date or would financial law prevent me from doing so? :o)

Whereabouts are you? I just got the number out of the Yellow Pages.

Are you "competition" for me?
Competition? I'm shocked at the suggestion, I purely want to see her on a professional level. Does she have nice jobblies? Who am I kidding, I'm about 300 miles away
I don't see why her job would have anything to do with her private life in this instance! now, if she were a doctor...

Priesty, yes she does! :o) But I actually noticed her face - it's BEAUTIFUL!

Thing is Pippa, I was just wondering about rules pertaining to "you mustn't fraternise with clients".
I work for an IFA, and there are no restrictions on humping clients. Not that any IFA at our company would dream of doing it, apart from maybe 4 or 5.

Cheers Priesty :o)
There you go Surrey...go get her! let us know how you get on :o)

What part of Surrey are you from?
Question Author
Thanks Pippa. I'm from Camberley - why? You after a date? :o)
LOL Surrey....nooooooo!!!

I was born in East Surrey (Redhill) so nowhere near you I'm afraid :o)

Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! :o)
She may be saying she is single to get your custom. IFA's aren't so much professional people, more sales people. You can do what you like.
oh dear.....of course she's single and has no boyfriend, until you sign on the dotted line and she gets her commission. Just call me a cynic but its a fairly old sales trick - pretty female saleswoman flirts with eager male customer......
but what the hell, go for it, it might be fun and its not my money!
Screwing your IFA won't get you a better return for your money ... in reality it will probably cost you more ... she could be high-maintenance

I'm looking to date her purely for what I saw/see - NOT what I can "get".
whatever !!!!
