Hello, a relation of my friends passed away recently, upon sorting through his assets they came upon a bottle of old 50p's & old 10p,s not sure how much but a few, will a bank change these into new currency now or is it to late to do anything with them?
Thanks in advance for your answers.

50ps maybe - I've done it recently. 10ps are a bit older so I doubt it. but it's worth asking.

They may want them to be paid into an account rather than changed.
If you can't find a bank to take them, don't ditch them -give them to a charity. They will find some use for them - they probably have a more sympathetic bank for a start.
