Does everyone keep bills, receipts, statements etc??

Im sitting here filing loadsa paperwork (i know i should do it more regularly) and it just occurred to me - does everyone keep all their paperwork? i do 'just in case' i need to refer to something, which i must admit is very rare. Maybe i should 'file' lots of it in the woodburner??

yes..i file em away
I keep all instructions and receipts for expensive stuff forever- they may be useful for selling on/insurance claims- bills and credit card receipts for about a year, all pay slips for about previous 5 years. I use internet banking so I no longer have bank statements which is great. But how big is your house? Surely all this stuff must take up a lot of room? Stoke up that woodburner!
