Another marriage/mortgage question..

My mortgage company will accept a letter and marriage certific ate to change my now wifes surname. Will they change the deeds or will I have to do this?

If so, how, how much? What if I dont changethe deeds?

There are no deeds - it's the title register at the Land Registry that need changing.

I don't know if the mortgage company will do it for you and if they will charge for doing it - you'll have to ask them. If they won't, or charge too much, you can DIY at the Land Registry.
If you don't bother your wife will have to sign documents relating to the property in her maiden name, which may lead to confusion.
