Hello all.

I have recently had a cashiers cheque/bankers draft from LLoyds TSB (as I had temporarily lost my cheque book)and the recipient claims that they have not received it. What do I need to do with regards recocvering the money? It has already come out of my account so I don't want to write another cheque until I'm sure that the first hasn't been cashed and I'm sure that I'll get my first lot of money back. Can this be done over the phone?

Thanks in advance for any help.

You need to contact your bank so that they can cancel the cheque (or draft, whichever it is). They will be able to inform you as to whether they will issue a replacement.

Thanks

I'm back in the country next week and I'll sort it out when I get back home. Just hoped that I could sort it before then.
