selling old photographic equipment
2 Answers
There doesn't seem to be a good place to post this.
My husband has some cameras, an enlarger and dark room equipment, bought in the late 60s, early 70s.
With digital photography these are probably more collectors items than anything.
Where can we find out what they are worth? Is there a website? Do you think ebay is the best place to sell?

Twice! -The second attempt came only within 70 (short) of my asking price. I am glad in away because I have since changed my mind and decided to keep the camera and one lens. What I decided was to shoot my 35mm film and have it 'developed only' and scanned to CD (eg Jessops) so I have it 'digitised' at the time of process. That costs only a few pounds extra.....
It depends upon the equipment. If 'professional' quality, they will still be saleable items IMHO, as many people still do their own non-digital-type photography.
But anyhow, ebay probably is the best place to try, as it has the largest audience. Just be prepared to be a little disappointed and if you have doubts about selling or not, set a reserve.
