yup, explain to your card issuer. i stupidly paid for a bargain holiday i won on the internet (i am much wiser now), and the american company said i had 14 days to change my mind, no questions asked for a full refund. i informed them id changed my mind within a couple of days, but several months later, no refund. after many lengthy, costly calls to usa, i contacted my card issuer. they followed it up immediately and i was refunded very quickly. they will have a lot more legal weight behind them than you will. good luck.
