I have moved around a lot over the years and had a five pound premium bond, I do not have it in my possession as it is over tweny years old could I have won anything

You need to write to
http://www.nsandi.com/help/changeofaddress.jsp
with your new address and also ask them to check if you have won anything.

You will probably also need to quote your premium bond card holder number, and all the previous addresses you have lived at.
