My mortgage is due to be redeemed on the 2nd of November does anyone know if I still have to make my normal mortgage payment on the 1st?? Thanks in advance for any answers

I would imagine the 2nd was chosen because it is one day after you make your final payment, which is after all fundamental to the redemption of a mortgage. The answer is almost certainly in your small print.
Almost certainly yes. If it is an overpayment they'll refund it.
of course you will, other wise the redepmtion date would have been after you paid octobers
