how much can i earn?

i am signing on for my nat. insurance stamp and have been told that i can earn so much before an employer then has to pay it instead. i have been told it is about �70 but need to know an exact figure as i could be earning about �75. is the figure before or after tax too?

I wouldn�t get excited about an employer paying it instead, though. You still pay it, but it is deducted from your pay before you see it.
There is another limit of �84 a week Once you reach this you will be creditted with NI contributions without having to pay anything.
