If I sold my house for ie �200000 and bought another for the same amount,how much extra "expenses" should I expect to incur eg removals,solicitors fees etc. Thanks

I'd estimate-

�2000 stamp duty
�500-�1000 solicitors costs
�500 removal costs
�2000-�3000 estate agents fees

plus the potential for extra fees regarding mortgage costs (if you were to change mortgage)

Thanks EverClean for your prompt and concise reply.
Apart from Everclean estimate you would have to add on Land Registry Fees which I think are around �100.00, Local Search Fee which depends on where you live but is usually between �100 - �180, and a few other disbursements from the Solicitors. The Solicitor will charge both a buying and selling fee so I would so with all of Evercleans higher estimates.

Usually an estate agents fee is about 1.25% and you have to remember to add VAT onto the Solicitors + Estate Agents fees.
