Can anyone help me with this . I payed a cheque valued at 35000 euros into a "well known bank" in january, and to date this has still not cleared.
I have contacted my bank in the UK, and they have now informed me that the cheque has been lost between the courier and the Spanish Bank.
I have a receipt for the cheque from my UK bank but they have informed me that they are not responsible for the loss and I may lose the 35000 can any one tell me who is responsible for this as I have a receipt from the UK bank and in my opinion it is their responsibility and not mine to recover the money .

The cheque has to be sent to spain in order for monies to be cleared.
