gas bill query

received a reminder for my british gas bill this morning. cannot understand what additional charge is for. it says tele message issue charge �10 on top of usage and VAT, anyone else had this?

Apparently it is there charge for telephoning you.

Have they phoned you at all?

British Gas TELEMESSAGE charge of �14 to me. This is a letter with the heading 'Urgent Telemessage' not a phone call, the charge is for the letter sent. I wrote letters to british gas, filled in forms etc, I wasn't calling & waiting 30mins to speak to a person so I wrote paper letters & filled in their forms. And I still get this �14 charge.. I WOULD CALL THIS NUMBER 0845 955 5415 (they don't keep you waiting) and like me tell them you have wrote to them several times and you want this charge removed and they will remove it.. Hope this helps.

I have just received a bill from BG with an additional �10 charge for the call out of a bailiff-I have never seen a bailiff, do not owe money-to anyone and am not a BG customer!They really are something else.
