Insurance for jewellery

I recently got engaged and want to insure my ring for loss, theft or damage. Whats the best way of doing this? Any experience or advice appreciated.

If you google JEWELLERY INSURANCE there are lots of people that do it, including Argos.

Alternatively you could contact your home contents insurers and see whether it could be included on your policy.

all home contents people i've tried have an upper limit that doesnt cover the ring and the ones i found on google dont look the most genuine! I wondered if there was a bespoke company that were more reputable?!

mine is insured as a seperate item on my household insurance - i guess mine must be cheaper than yours!

my household insurance is a very cheapo internet company - i'm sure if i had decent insurance it would be covered like yours!!
