I brought a new oven 10 months ago from Sainsburys.
The food was in the oven and 'pop' we looked and the inner glass was shattered.
I called sainsburys just now and they gave me a number for the 'engineer' to come round,
The oven is under a year old, where do we stand?
Hubbys telling me we should be intitled to a full replacement, are we?
I know that I will get fobbed off by the call center people.

i would imagine (but not sure in law) that you would be entitled to a repair or replacement if it cant be repaired
You will certainly be entitled to have the repair done free. Don't be fobbed off - I am not sure why you think you will.
You should also ask them to pay for the food which was ruined as well!!
Ten months is a 'reasonable time' for you have legally accepted the oven and so you cannot demand a refund. You can expect a repair or replacement (their choice, not yours) at Siansbury's expense though. And remember that your contract is with Sainsbury's, not the manufacturer, and don't let them tell you any different.
