I signed a contract with The 1.2.Buy company in May this year to sell my four holiday weeks. they told me they had a buyer for the price I asked. I paid them 625 via Mastercard and haven't heard anything since. When I did ring them, they said they were waiting for the money to go into their account. It is now over three months and no word from them.
Have I been scammed? if so can I reclaim my money from Mastercard.

Advice would be very welcome.

This is the second oldest timeshare selling trick in the book (the first is selling it in the first place). Resellers say they have found a buyer but need some money now for a range of spurious reasons (legal fees etc.). You won't see the money again. Guarantee it. Try and get it back from Mastercard.
why did you pay them money when you're the one selling - i am confused. you are covered to a certain extent by the credit card company if for example the company has went in liquidation-more info required ya know
More confusing is why people STILL bother with timeshare/holiday ownership
