On home page of AB, what is an Experien Credit Report?

they have access to your credit history, and if you pay them they can provide you with a copy do you can see how good your credit rating is.

It's a report on your credit by a company called Experien.

It's like Ronseal. It does exactly what it says on the tin!

I won't use them. I already know my credit rating is shot. I don't need it reiterated from them.

i really don't need to pay Experian Credit, or indeed anyone to know how crap my limit is.

These companies don't even start to do my credit rating. They have a small list of names that ring alarm bells at the mere mention of them. I fit nicely into that little elite group. It takes years of hard work to achieve such a status.

I remember years ago being refused something because I was 'blacklisted' & couldn't understand why :( I sent off a �1 check & couldn't believe the info they sent me back!!! It even had my ex partner who I lived with...& his new gf's names on it also...I was stunned!! amazing how easy it can be to get hold of info!!

I check mine twice a year - it is free. This way I know if the information held about me is correct, that nobody has attempted to get credit in my name, that nobody is wronly associated with me.

It shows all the credit cards I have, the balances and the credit limits, and the number of missed or late payments.

It shows all the loans I have had, and the number of late or missed payments.

The number of CCJs (none); names of people financially associated with me, and the names of compainies who have done a credit check on me.

The only charge (which I have paid only once) is for you actual credit score. I think I paid �10, certainly no more than that.
