You could either get a part time job with shift/night work that you work when your husband is home, or your husband could get another part time job to do in the evening
Panic
Can you ask your mortgage company for a payment break while you look for another job? the first thing to do is let them know before you start missing payments.

Do you get child tax credit etc?
Register with employment agencies and work when you want.
First of all contact your lender and arrange to pay interest only perhaps for a while or whatevr you can pay. Don't fall into the trap of paying nothing because you cannot afford the lot. Do not bury head in the sand. The last thing they want to do is reposess so talk to them and buy some time while you look for ways to increase income.
Do you have any mortgage protection insurance, do you have anything you can sell, this may help in the short term. Over a longer period get in touch with the lender asap, also try Consumer Credit Counselling Service if you have other debts. This may take some pressure out of the situation and they can negotiate with the lender for you
Why dont you just get a part time job? Or get your husband to get a better paid job? you cant support a family on under 900 alone!

In all fairness though my sister in law had a similar prob and during the school hols she had to quit her job, same reason as you. She got a leaflet delivery job/newspaper round and made it into an adventure/treasure trails for her kids as they went along with her. It kept them entertained, good exercise and made her money hey presto!

Good luck
Also have you called tax credits they can top up yur husbands earnings.
Also how about getting a child minder to cover the holidays and trying to get your job back although i think its a bit late for that. I know i wouldn t be able to work without my childminer. I get 80% of my childcare costs back from tax credits if i didnt get this i wouldnt be able to work.
Also when my husband left me i changed to interest only mortage which helped alot.
Good luck
All good advice.

Please talk to your lender. They are very sympathetic and will try to help if you ask for help. If you ignore it until it becomes a problem for them then they are always less helpful.
get your husband to bend down more often, he might pick up more!
