I am planning moving to Ireland at the end of the year. I am a UK national and am wondering if I can still use my UK bank account and credit cards even if I am living in Ireland?

I would also like to know if I would having difficulty obtaining a credit card there, considering my UK credit report will not be accessible to Irish lenders?

Thanks

Assuming you mean the Republic of Ireland and not Northern Ireland, it could be very expensive keeping the UK bank cards - you will have to convert everything to the Euro.

There should be no problem getting a bank account and credit card over there if you make available all the information they need.
