sorry if this is in the wrong section but i need a quote/source asap.

someone told me once that laminated paper and products take like 150million years to degrade. i need a source for this quote, I'm presenting to the MD in half an hour (which I've only just been told about) trying to make him go environmentally friendly on a project for a client.

(by the way the client is a global leader so you never know what knock on affects this one project may have!)

please help me and the enviroment!

sorry to miss your deadline!!

More like a few thousand years than millions but still a long time. Like all plastics they will not go away for a while.

some factual info here

This is a ludicrous number ; I hope you never used it. Did you think about how a number like that might have been derived?

I wonder who teh client is that feel the need to 'make' people go green. I hope your MD doesn't bite; he will lose profit and therefore jobs and tax revenue whilst we all still get submerged because of what happens overseas.
