There is no right in law to either enhanced pay or a day off on bank holidays. So no, you are not entitled to a day in lieu unless it is in your contract.
You ARE entitled to 24 days PAID annual leave - which does include any bank holidays you may have off.
thank you ethell /my staff want their cake and eat it.small buisness wil struggle with this extra law/staff wont be happy until their is no job left/oh and that will be our fault as well..........its a hard life
